What the Mayor Said

Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart referred to the Nch'Kay/West development of Senakw as “a real gift to the city.” He further promised: “Everything we can do to make this project be successful is at the top of my list.”

Does this include accommodating Nch'Kay/West’s proposal to develop to unprecedented density levels, by agreeing to construct roads needed by the Development, on Vanier Park land through to Chestnut St, thus offloading the intense traffic generated by the Senakw development onto this Kits Point park and neighbourhood?

Let us challenge the Mayor on the issue of accommodating a developer to this extent.
