Community Engagement - or Lack Thereof

The engagement with Kits Point residents has been abysmal.

Neither the City of Vancouver, nor the Parks Board, nor the Federal Government bothered to consult local Kits Point Residents to discuss the impact of the largest development of its kind in North America.
Frustratingly, many questions posed were answered with "we can't divulge information as negotiations with the developer are confidential".

Let us ensure that Vancouver citizens are aware of the lack of appropriate governance, particularly on the part of the City of Vancouver, who negotiated a Services Agreement with the developers in complete secrecy.
