This website is dedicated to protesting the un-necessary road through Vanier Park for the sole benefit of the Senakw Development.

It is outrageous that the Government of Canada has granted a licence to the Squamish Nation to build a substantial service road through Vanier Park connecting to Chestnut Street to enable the Nch'Kay/Westbank development of the Senakw site. The use of public space for a commercial project is unacceptable.

An opinion on a sensitive issue

This protest is not about opposing the right of the developers to maximize the value of their site. It is about ensuring that the development is planned constructively with due consideration of all significant impacts.
